    All Active Duty and Active Guard Reserves are required to attend this mandatory briefing prior to using the Air Force Tuition Assistance (AFTA) for the first time. This briefing covers the use of tuition assistance and the members responsibility in the process.     This briefing is for transitioning Service Members. Members pursuing college education will receive guidance on how to prepare for the college application process. It addresses such topics as identifying educational goals, education funding and researching and comparing institutions. Members MUST attend TAP-GPS with A&FRC before attending.

    MAT 110A: Math Concepts
    24 July-21 August
    This course gives students an awareness of the role mathematics plays in today’s society and how it is used to understand and solve relevant problems. Additionally, it develops a student’s numerical literacy to confidently interpret and communicate numerical literacy to confidently interpret and communicate numerical information. Topics include a brief introduction to the principles of logic, numerical concepts and problem solving, algebraic concepts in the context of mathematical modeling and statistical reasoning with an emphasis on descriptive methods.
