    Open to all separating or retiring military members. Mandatory 5-day workshop for transitioning personnel. Congress has deemed that all separating personnel needs to be prepared for life after the Air Force. This class covers financial preparedness, military to civilian skills crosswalk, job search, resume writing, interviewing, VA benefits and a small job fair. Pre-separation counseling is a pre-requisite for this class.

    Open to military members returning from deployments, extended OCONUS TDYs, or remote tours. This briefing is to help members reintegrate. Mandatory for all AF AD personnel within 4 days of returning. Open to spouses, but childcare is not available (contact A&FRC for some possible options). Other returning personnel are welcome to attend.

    This course focuses on the role mathematics plays in today’s society and how it is used to understand and solve relevant problems. Additionally, it develops a student’s numerical literacy to confidently interpret and communicate numerical information. Topics include a brief introduction to the principles of logic, numerical concepts and problem solving, algebraic concepts in the context of mathematical modeling and statistical reasoning with an emphasis on descriptive methods. Class is held at the Airman Leadership School Bldg. 30 Tuesday night’s from 1730-2130.
