Welcome to the Buckley AFB School Liaison Program. Did you know the average military family moves nine times over a 20-year career? With each move, military children face many school-related challenges. The School Liaison Program coordinates and assists military and DoD civilian parents with school-age children with educational opportunities and information necessary to succeed in an academic environment. The School Liaison Officer (SLO) is the central point of contact for school-related matters between commanders, military families and local school systems. We’re here to smooth the transition, whether it’s helping to handle registrations, getting the most current information about schools, advising parents about which documents are required or other issues surrounding students’ placement or adjustment in a new school.
