What: Parent’s will sign up to read books to their child’s classroom

Why: Parent involvement to promote literacy in the classroom.

Who: Parents of children enrolled at Crested Butte CDC, A-Basin CDC or
Family Child Care
What: Various cooking activities
When: 14 February (please check your child’s classroom for activity time)
Where: Crested Butte and A-Basin CDCs
Why: Family involvement cooking activities within individual classrooms.

Who: AF families with a referral certificate
What: Give Parent’s a Break
When: 10 February | 1800-2200
Where: Crested Butte CDC
Why: Referral program, sponsored by the Air Force Aid Society,
for AF families who are going through a hardship. Respite care
is provided through the CDC. Sign-up by COB 8 February.
Cost: Free

Why: An advisory board for parents to provide inputs to the
programs, re-planning of activities, operational concerns/
improvements, etc.
