Who: Active Duty Members, Guard and Reserve on orders as well as their spouses expecting a baby
What: Integrative course to educate expectant parents
Why: Soon-to-be parents will receive information from multiple on-base and off-base agencies regarding infant care, safety, fitness during/post pregnancy, financial preparedness and more. A free bundle of onesies, bibs, crib sheets and more are provided to those that attend. Continental breakfast provided. Who: Open to Leadership, EFMP families, single parents and immediate family members who has a loved one currently deployed, on a remote tour or TDY for 30 days or longer on Active Duty orders.
What: Monthly family focused support event sponsored by the Mile High Friends of Military Families

Who: Open to Military Members returning from deployment, extended OCONUS TDY or remote tours
What: Briefing to help members reintegrate after deployment
Why: Mandatory for all AF AD personnel within 4-days of returning. Open to spouses, child care is
not available (contact A&FRC for possible childcare options). Other returning personnel are welcome to attend.

Transition Assistance Program GPS Workshop

5-9 February | 0730-1630 | Bldg. 606 | Auditorium
Who: All separating or retiring Military Members
What: Mandatory 5-day workshop for transitioning personnel
Why: Congress has deemed that all separating personnel need to be prepared for life after the Air Force. This class covers financial preparedness, military to civilian skills crosswalk, job search, resume writing, interviewing, VA benefits and a small job fair. Pre-separation counseling is a pre-requisite for this class.

Who: Open to transitioning members who have completed all TAPGPS requirements
What: TAPGPS CAPSTONE event
Why: Mandatory for all personnel 90-150 days prior to their date of separation or retirement. During this event the DD 2648 will be completed after a thorough review of all required Career Readiness Standards.
