What: Integrative course to educate expectant parents
Why: Soon-to-be parents will receive information from multiple on-base and off-base agencies regarding infant care, safety, fitness during/post pregnancy, financial preparedness and more. A free bundle of onesies, bibs, crib sheets and more are provided to those that attend. Continental breakfast provided. Who: All base volunteers who serve on and off base. Special groups will be recognized as Volunteer of the Year, Angel Award, Small Group and Large Group Awards.
What: National Volunteer Appreciation Month to recognize those that serve unselfishly all year long.
Award Nomination Packages will be sent to Volunteer Agency Reps to submit nominees and scored by a panel. Winners will be announced at the brunch.
Why: Although volunteers do not serve to get recognition; their service and dedication warrants recognition.
